長くてちょっとバカみたいな名前で、ごめんなさい。
私にとって、編み物は愛情表現です。
この帽子は友人のために編みました。カシミヤのゆったりした帽子をかぶったときに感じる、あの心地よくて、ほっとするような感覚を、友人にも同じように感じてもらえたらと思ったからです。
寒くて、世の中がちょっと冷たく感じるとき。あるいは頭が痛いとき。もしくは、ただなんとなく隠れていたいとき……耳のまわりを柔らかな繭のようなもので包んでもらうほど、幸せなことはないと思っています。
この帽子はワンサイズです。20目ずつの単位でサイズを調整できます。もし小さめの帽子にしたい場合は、もう少し太い糸を使って、針のサイズを一段階上げて編むこともできます。
この帽子を編むのに、エコカシミヤを1.7かせ使いました。ただし、編み手の手加減によって必要量は変わる場合があります。
基本的にはとても分かりやすい編み方ですが、ちょっと意外に感じるような細かな作業も含まれています。
初心者の方にも、あるいは編み物の上級者が何も考えずに黙々と編みたいときにも、おすすめの帽子です。

I knit this hat for a friend because I wanted my friend to understand the same cozy, lovely feeling I do when I pop on a cashmere floppy hat. I think there’s nothing better than having a soft cocoon around my ears when the world is cold and cruel, or maybe I have a headache, or… I just feel like hiding. This hat is one size. It’s adjustable in 20 stitch increments, so if you desire a smaller hat you could use a thicker yarn and bump up a needle size. I used 1.7 hanks of the eco cashmere to complete the hat, but that may vary depending on a knitter’s tension. This is pretty straight forward but includes some details work that you might not expect. It’s a great hat for a beginner, or when the expert needs a mindless knit.
