住まいの近所、野川公園のイチョウの葉をモチーフにした帽子です。イチョウの葉は東京都のシンボルでもあり、私の秋の一番の楽しみなので、大切にこのパターンを作りました。

【About this Design】
I have lived in West Tokyo for 18 years, and my favourite place to take a walk is in Nogawa Koen, just off the Tohachi Highway. It has rolling hills, fun trails, and a plethora of wonderful old Ichou trees that turn the most fabulous shade of gold in late November and early December.
As the Ichou leaf is Tokyo’s metropolitan government symbol, and the very best part of an Autumn in Tokyo, I made this hat in tribute. Please knit it, and wear it while you enjoy leaf
peeping this fall.
This hat is worked in the round from the rib to the crown. It is time intensive as it is knit on
fine needles in fragile yarn. After the rib is worked, the simple chart is worked and finished
with regular decreases at the crown. A rope and tassel are added for extra charm.
